The Flying Pole Show Act is a performance that combines elements of pole dance, dance and aerial acrobatics. The performance takes place on a special, floating pole, which is attached to ropes and can therefore move freely in the air.

The show begins with classic pole dance elements on the floor, such as spins, inverts and figures. The pole then lifts off and the performer uses the freedom of movement in the air to perform tricks and stunts using their own physical strength.

This form of dance is often used for shows and events as it is visually very impressive and versatile.
